Somewhat humbling when a Banfi wine turns out to be the group's wine of the weekend, but the Poggio All'Oro was outstanding. The Cerretalto was flawed imho. Stewed prunes on the nose is not a desirable characteristic, but at least it was only on the nose.

The Calabretta Nerello Macalese was a discovery for me. Excellent juice from Sicily. Will look out for this wine in the future.
