I'm so tired of these Floridians who always stick a comment in here when anyone mentions how cold it it where they live and how nice it where the commenter lives. Let's get this straight: Florida is the worst place on earth (and I'm not even talking about the politics.) Rains day after day, months on end, unbearable heat and humidity. Bugs that can eat your face off and occasional man-eating reptiles. Pretty much the weather sucks from April to September (unless you like to sweat a lot.)
Let's look at southern California. Were I live today it's 65. Yesterday it was 70. These are our winter averages. In general where I live a hot day in the summer is 85 (and usually with low humidity.) A cold day is in the upper 50s. Humidity is only high here about 10 to 15 days a year. We only have 7.5 inches a year of rain. In Key West--45 inches from more than 100 rain days a year. If you look up the best climates in the world San Diego is always at least in the top 10 if not top 5. Florida? You can have it.
