He did this without even letting the parents of the victim know. You should have heard their interviews filled with sorrow and anger. One quote, "My son (was) stabbed in the heart when he was alive. Schwarzenegger stabbed him in the back after my son is killed.”

After being pushed for months as to why Schwarzenegger did it he finally answered, "Well, hello! I mean, of course you help a friend."
