I've tried the 1999 & 2000 Halo and I posted TN's on the 1999, and I think I posted TN's on the 2000 also.
Anyway---Don't pay the $150 for the 2000, it falls far short of the 1999. Personally, the 2000 should be priced about $50/60. While the bottle is heavy and larger than the Phelps Insignia bottle, the punt is especially deep, and the label is outstanding with leaded bright colors and shadows, the juice just doesn't have the body and flavors of the 1999! Again, the 1999 is a thick, rich, mouth coating, fabulously flavorable experience that needs 5/10 years in the bottle. The 2000 can be poured straight from the bottle. Still, I'm sure this is the best Cabernet that Trefethen has ever produced, and the 1999 Halo is an exceptional wine!
Use the "Find" tool above and search for Halo, I'm sure the notes are there. Good Luck!
