My Omega Speedmaster stopped running a couple of weeks ago.
Turns out it had some rust (in a Speedmaster!!), and needs to be repaired/tuned. Going to cost about $400.
That is cheap overall.
I'm curious, when was the last time you had the watch serviced prior to this happening? The gaskets will dry out for sure if not serviced.
I just had the gaskets replaced on a Rolex I own.
I never had it serviced. I bought the watch, used, about 3-4 years ago, so I hadn't gotten around to getting it serviced.
I just had my Rolex serviced, and was thinking about getting the Omega done as well when it crapped out.
