'99 Michel-Schlumberger Cab

This was another double gold winner at the Cal State Fair from vineyards in the Dry Creek Valley, somewhere around $22 I think. Medium ruby, astringent nose of red cherries, rose petals, carries through on the simple but pleasant palate. Medium bodied reasonable finish. Acidity levels not overbearing but typical of the vintage. Overpriced for what you get but certainly quaffable. 85 points.
