Appearance is clear, pale intensity, lemon colour. Thin legs.
Nose is clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of saline wet stones minerality, chalky limestone minerals, citrus lemon, green apple/pear, whiffs of white pepper. Youthful.
On the palate, dry, juicy high acidity, medium- alcohol (12.5%), rather dense medium+ body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of citrus lemons, green apple and pear, piercing wet stones minerality, chalk and limestone minerals, and then puffs of that classic white pepper powder spice. Medium flavour finish but the acid zing and tingle remains long. Gets the gastric juices seriously flowing!
Very good quality. I haven't had a Gru-Vee for a while, and this is a good classic one. Excellent QPR.
