Well, I am not sure if this was worth the wait, or if the wait should have been longer! But, this is firing on all cylinders. Ever so slightly bricking; still deep ruby red. A nose, and palate for that matter, of dark cherry, tar, a hint (really, just a hint) of eucalyptus. A slight medicinal quality (in a good way) that seemed to dissipate after about 15 minutes. Tannic structure is there to hold it together. I don't know where this is going, but I will guess that it will continue to age well for at least another 5 years. Damn good. Well done, Paul and Stefania. Bummer that this is my last bottle, as I would love to follow it for a few more years.
