Scubarex brought this Australian riesling from Clare Valley to last night's off-line at Mykha's.

Pale, almost clear color. Pretty lavender bouquet, with some wet stones in the background. Very crisp and concentrated citrus falvors. Not showing much right now. Probably needs time, and definitely needs to be consumed with food. 88P(?)

Better than the 2001 Grosset Watervale we tried last year.

Cheers,

Otis

No formal notes but I agree it was better than the 2001 that we had last year. Perhaps the driest of the 5 Rieslings that we tried at this dinner (the Wyncroft Riesling from Michigan was close). 87-88 points.

Thanks Scubarex.

Other than the Prum, I liked this best of the rieslings we had because it was dry. Not a bad drinker at all. 88 pts
