Not decanted. Darker ruby red in color. Notes of blackberry and cherry blend perfectly with the subtle notes of smoke and oak. As the wine gets air, more of the smoke comes out. On the palate, it is a slightly different. I couldn't detect any of the smoke, but picked up a lot of sour cherry, and tart blackberry. The finish was rather short. Overall, not too bad... 86-88.
I paid $17 for it, but I'd lay off buying more. I can find better Chilean stuff for less.
Go HOKIES!!!
