Amazing musician listened alot to his "Blues from the rainforest." His keyboards on legion of mary were amazing

Ahhhh, Mareff, sorry to hear about him passing. Seeing your post made me walk over to the stereo and throw his Boogie On Reggae Woman on the ipod. I used to see him semi-regularly at the double diamond in aspen when I lived there in the 90s.

Loved hearing any of those riffs on the hammond organ with the spinning speaker...just the epitome of funk to me.

I guess I'll raise my glass of Stefania Haut Tubee to him.

Sad, I remember many shows of Merls(maybe not fully Big Grin). Great guy and great musician. He will be missed but we have some great tunes and memories to remember him by.
