This, to me, is one of things that makes U2 one of the greatest bands of all-time; yes, even better than many of the greats from the 60s and 70s. That is to say, they still write relevant music after 30 years, unlike bands like Rolling Stones, that haven't written a relevant song in 25+ years, imo, and are nothing more than traveling nostalgia.

This is a very valid point. The amount of energy can vary from night to night, and I would become tired of playing the same songs as well. However, I am looking forward to hearing the new songs live.
