Do you guys want to watch some bad amateur hockey June 1-3? Because of a huge playoff win tonight Otis and I will be there with our team, the Hoseheads, playing in a tournament. IMO the clinching moment was Otis scoring a shortie in the first period to put us up 2-1. We never looked back.

More to follow.....

Umm, as much as most love hockey (actually, for me, it's more about the Bruins than the game), didn't you forget about something most of us love even more?

Actually, the Toronto guys' silence today may be due to their shock over the demise of the Hapless Buds. I'm still hurtin' over my Bruins and you may be over the Habs. At least Otis is happy.

If there were to be an offline (could it really damage your performance?), I might have to make the road trip.

Go Bruins!!
Go Tigers!!
Go Pistons!!
Go Lions!!

grossie,

As pumped as I am about roofing that shortie, I think the key to our playoff success was the Toronto Maple Leafs jersey that the TWC gave me after my '05 CDP.

In the locker room before our team hit the ice, we all tapped the "Toronto" part of the Leaf logo - similar to the way the Notre Dame Fightin' Irish all tap the "Play Like a Champion" banner on their way out to the field.

After we won, we broke out in a spontaneous chorus of "O, Canada". Goosebump city, man.

Go Hoseheads!!! Cool Big Grin

Cheers,

Otis

This is a real cause for celebration!
Hockey back in T.O, and the opportunity for an offline at the same time. A double-header.
Please send more details!
Can't wait to see y'all again.

An 'Enforcer' (aka- Goon) that can SCORE too!...and short-handed to boot! Cool
Hey Otis...what kind of contract are playing under?
Roll Eyes Wink

It would appear you don't buy your hockey gloves at the same place I do...(LaFarge Cement!) Razz

Canadian weather?
Nine months of hockey and three months of bad ice.
