No kidding. Hope this is one thing that doesn't come in threes.  I was surprised to read that his death wasn't linked to his sarcoidosis. I too suffer from this disease (and like Bernie, past the worst, thanks  ) but everything I've read and heard from my respirologist suggests that the damage it can cause to the lungs and other organs increases the likelihood of diseases like pneumonia.

RIP. He was very funny, and while I have no idea what he was like in private, he always struck me as a very good guy. He will be missed.
