This may be one of the dumbest comments I have ever heard. The Jets would have scored even more if Darius Butler didn't make a GREAT open field tackle? Um, that's called playing defense.

More on my breakdown on the game in a bit.

It was a great defensive play, and I didn't sell the pats D short.

Do you have a point or do you just like posting dumb responses?

I think most of the people here that consistently read the sports boards know that I don't make 'dumb responses.' Your logic and the points you attempt to make herein are, to be polite, lackluster.

Like I said, I will break down the game in a bit after my meeting.

And also, that statement you made on which I commented would have been like me saying:

"The Patriots really would have made it a closer game if Joey Galloway hadn't falled down after making that catch in the third quarter after he juked his defender because he would have been gone."

It's just sort pointless.

I don't read the sports board, and you care more about sports than I probably ever will. Save the space, I will follow your sport insights from other threads. I am but a rabid fan with cursory knowledge learned through EA's madden.

In response to which I owned up to the fact that I made an error.

That's what we were talking about and there second half was NOT impressive. Sorry.
In the second half out of 5 touches, 3 went for scores.

The saints, out of 12 touches, 7 went for scores
58% success rate in scoring
TD's are impressive. Satlling out and merely kicking field goals isn't. Otherwise boy did the Pats have a hell of a first half or what?
The chargers, 6/11 went for scores. 54$ success rate in scoring.Same reply as above. It's not the % of drives that end in scores. It's the # of points. Field goals are usually unimpressive drives that come away with something, which is better than nothing, but not impressive.

Yea, for a rookie quarterback being able to put up some points 60% of the time? That is impressive.I said he did a great job managing the game if you can read. I didn't realize he kicked those field goals. Great work by him there.

If you weren't such an ass about how things are qualified as "good" in my book, we wouldn't be having this convo. That was a joke, well, mostly a joke. The Pats have set a higher bar for what impresses me offensively.

Save your holier than thou attitude for another time.
Man you guys are tightly wound in NYC.

Oh, well then, that explains your stupid responses if you learned football through a video game. You should have said if the guy had hit the high step and spin buttons more he would have broken the tackle and I would have seen your point.

He doesn't know anything about any kind of wine, dining, or travel. This loser's sole purpose is to come here and ridicule other posters' sport teams. Pitiful. It must make him feel better about himself.

Keep telling yourself that and you might just believe it sooner or later. Either that or you'll forget what you were babbling about and go back to gumming your soup.

G-man, nobody hates the Patsies and their bandwagon fans more then me, but let's get real here. The Jets won and deserved to unlike New England last Monday, but they were hardly impressive on offense. Put up 450 yards and score over 40 points and then you can talk, under 250 and 16, not so much.

Remember to always aim high, that way you won't get any on your shoes.

Since everything I've said previously was a joke. It would appear you are more tightly wounded than I.

And btw, it's right Playmaker stick. EA Sports It's in the game.

Oh, we all believe it. You post boasts about your sports teams, even though they're losers, and vitually nothing else. How about a tasting note, fine dining review, or travel report? It's patently obvious to everybody why you come to this site.

Just one more sip.

It's certainly not to contribute anything about wine.

To have fun, and to call you grumpy. I post in all the forums when I have something to add. Strangely enough you ignore my posts in other forums. When I write of travel or wine you don't stalk me like you do here. I could brag and boast like you but I choose not to, I find it to, well, lack class as you like to say.
