Now keep in mind that I'm the initiator of such thread gems as FRENCH WINE SUCKS! and the timeless classic Will someone please tell me why everyone makes such a big deal about 1000th posts? I mean, all this really proves is the posters have lots of time on their hands, right? Is that something to be proud of?

Where is the fire? Where is the deep contemplation? All we have are lists of what we're drinking, what we're buying, and what we're listening to. Sometimes this site is like watching paint dry.
