of course not. and funny enough, lundy(carradine) was in last nights "dollhouse". maybe a recurring role? quote: Originally posted by latour67: TBird
Agreed, that was shocking to say the least, but you know it can't be the end of Debra Morgan! --

I don't think Dollhouse will be a very long stay. Carradine has some movies coming soon, one with Ellen Page Bill Pullman, and Susan Sarandon is supposed to be a mystery. I think he's finished with reoccurring rolls for a while, but he sure did a great job! My favorite Keith Carradine clip from Nashville, I'm Easy.

dollhouse is doing ok. it came back round 2 without the sarah conner chronicles carrying it. i sat first row at mind games just to see carradines face. the critics *HATED* it, but not me! he was awesome!

Last weeks episode fell a little short, and I'll just have to wait till next week for another dose of "Dexter". The writers are still being coy on who shot Lundy and Debra Morgan! Everything points to the Trinity Killer, played by John Lithgow, but that seems too obvious, and I still think the guilty party is---- Anton! And now, Anton will be on the bad side of "DEXTER" Anton could be headed for the table!

anton is guilty of what? of course trinity shot deb & lundy, even if it seems a bit obvious. nothing coy about it! deb's performance in the parking lot(when she broke down) made the whole episode worthy.

I just picked up Dexter this year after my wife got suckered into a trial of Showtime by the friendly Directv rep- very unlike her! What a great show. This last episode had me jumping out of my seat near the end. I can't wait for the big showdown, not sure if it's coming next week or if we have to wait (guessing we have to wait). I really like the acting on the show, although the incognito love tryst going on with the lieutenant is a little annoying, IMO.
******* Not looking good for next year either.

grossie, Yes, that love tryst is annoying to me also! I think the producer tried to save some money, and had the writers write that bit of contrived trivial trash. Angel Batista had a fantastic relationship going last season with a vice cop Barbara Gianna, but she disappeared after last season (I guess they broke up). Anyway, Gianna brought some real interest to Dexter, whereas, Laguerta needs her own story line, and not some sophomore boring office romance side line! I agree! I doubt that they will reveal very much with the next episode, caused we've got too far to go before the end of the season. Of course, you could always buy Season 3 and have a marathon weekend! A little wine and a lot of Dexter. (Jimmy Smitts was outstanding in Season 3!)

FWIW, the last episode was not up to par, I guess you could call it an "Off-episode".
The Rita/Counseling story line needs to go away, Nikki was eliminated as Lundy's killer; big deal! Dexter meets Trinity, uses a false name, gets close, interrogates his son, gets invited into Trinity's home; all without Trinity having a clue! Angel and Laguerta break up, yawn!?!----Stay tuned!

no, he's building it for himself. yes, oppsie! not a chance. quote: Originally posted by latour67: Is Trinity building a coffin for Dexter? Did Dexter murder an innocent man? Does Quinn have any evidence on Dexter? I still think Anton killed Lundy! This season is tops! Dexter is !

This episode (at least for me) was also a downer! Is Dexter slipping into a formula melodrama, full of implausible events which manipulates the viewer? Example: Are the writers suggesting that Rita is going to have an affair with the next door neighbor while holding her new baby on her hip and Dexter is out of town for 2 days? Sorry, that doesn't work for me! Debra Morgan proves she wasn't shot by the 6'4" Trinity killer, by showing the entry/exit wound, which could only be made by someone 3'6"! They cancelled the investigation even though he could have been kneeling??? Dexter save Trinity because he just happens to know where he is at 6am in the morning? Hollywood! Laguerta and Batista break the table while doing "it" at work, where there is no privacy, and they're trying to hide their affair from everybody, including their boss? Good Grief, they are two detectives surrounded by many other detectives and investigators! Get a room! And finally, Christine Hill walks away---never mind!

Latour, the stuff you mention does not bother me so much, but I think Dexter seems to be getting reckless. Killing that photographer mid investigation when he was a possible suspect... and even breaking into the vandal neighbors house. I wonder if the series, not the season will end with Dexter getting caught.

I love the show and hope Dexter keeps getting away with everything.

Really, I'm betting he killed the right person and the photographer was the real killer! The breaking in the neighbors house just says the calm on-the-exterior Dexter will protect the neighborhood, and that he will confront inequities! "Dexter" is winning awards, selling merchandise, and has more public interest than to end the series after 4 Seasons. Not to worry!

TBird, I can't say I blame you.
Latour, I am not saying season 4 will end with Dexter being caught. But I think it would be a great way to end the series.

No way the Dexter Series will end this year! They are selling too much product on the open market. Besides, everyone likes to see a bad person get what's coming to them, and Dexter is the answer!
