The Season 4 premier was last night, and it promises to be an outstanding year for "Dexter" fans.

John Lithgow & Keith Carradine appear to have major roles this season, and the cameo's are always excellent on "Dexter", like Adrienne Barbeau last night, along with a exceptional group of well-known actors in other episodes.

Also, Jimmy Smits was outstanding in last season's episodes, and Mr. Cool, Keith Carridine is back after being off last year. However, I'm looking forward John Lithgow, and his portrayal as the serial killer, "The Trinity Killer"! Lithgow is a fantastic actor, that can evoke thrills, chills, or laughter!

"Dexter" and "True Blood" are my two favorite series!

I don't subscribe to Showtime, so we just buzzed thru season 3 on dvd. It's going to be long, dry spell until season 4 comes out. Hard to wait.

Agree with everything you say latour, though I'm not sure that I'm up for too many more shots of Lithgow's naked butt....

bman,

Yes, that rear vision of Lithgow was a rather rough! But just think of what Lithgow had to endure; having to sit in that bathtub full of bloody colored water with that lovely actress in the all-to-gether! That scene would have taken me several takes, and maybe even all day to complete! Eek

Confused spo?? The body was left at the gym, hanging in a container, above the boxing ring with small drips of blood hitting the floor of the ring. Dexter's concussion prevented him from remembering where he hid the body! Right!

I just never get into watching TV enough to regularly follow any episode series.
However this weekend was a Dexter Season 3 Marathon.

Excellent! And agree with Jimmy Smits role. Well played!

spo,

Wow, is right! One of the best episodes in the Dexter entire series! The female police segment was extra special, especially those scenes where she pulled her weapon, and that closing scene was a brilliant teaser for the next episode. I think that segment was written by two women---I would invite them back, immediately!

KSC02 Yes, Jimmy Smits aced that role!

Something is awry, and the obvious is not always the answer----I'm thinking Anton, or a strange plot twist!

I like that idea latour, and had not really thought of it. That is what makes these shows so fun is that they keep you guessing.

Last night WAS awesome. So was the weekend before where we got a glimpse of the reporter naked. She is a cutie. Sad she's not sticking around.

Yeah, this season is looking pretty good.

Line of the night, "What IS it with you and rape?!"

Also, agreed, season 3 was awesome, and Jimmy Smitts was perfect. In fact, best role I've seem him in I think.

winetarell

Confused

That reporter is not through yet; she is too tenacious, and she surely adds to Det. Quinn's story line. Previously Quinn's line was with Det. Debra Morgan, but now she has Anton and Lundy, and really doesn't have anytime to interact with Quinn. Appears that Quinn needs that reporter to keep his story line moving. Also, I could use more of her too! Smile She's not through!

did *NOT* see the lundy thing coming. altho in hindsight, the show was a bit "busy" with his character returning, so it makes sense now.

excellent episode indeed.

Agreed, that was shocking to say the least, but you know it can't be the end of Debra Morgan! --
