Hello!

have you seen this post about the motorway the Spanish government is planning to build up across the Ribera del Duero vineyards?

http://www.winespectator.com/Wine/Features/0,1197,3700,00.html

Please, sign the petition against the proposed route of this motorway on this site: www.savetheduero.com

thanks!

Better there than in Priorat, Montsant, or Jumilla.

Just one more sip.

Signed the petition. Hopefully an endeavor like this helps. The Ribera del Duero region is one of the most upcoming, advancing areas in Spain, creating some fantastic wine. What a shame to infringe on the delicate climate of such an area when it would seemingly be so easy to just move the project across the river.

Actually, the Ribera del Duero is the most tired, unimproved region of Spain.

Just one more sip.
