I think he's going to do what the latest version of Favre does in big games, try too hard to make something happen and screw it all up with turnovers.

Yes. I would trade him for a bag of footballs. I would bet a large sum of money that he will not be on the team next year.

I was just watching the highlights. Amazing!

Next up New England. I don't think Miami play this ugly and expect to win up there. Miami secondary gives me ulcers!

Somewhat surprisingly, the Niners gave the Colts all they could handle. Still, a loss is a loss. Frown

Nice win for the Bolts, if you can call a victory over the Raiders a win. Kind of like kissing your sister I suppose.

I know, it was a nice game for the Niners. Manning looked a bit confused at times, if that's possible. I was shocked that they ran a trick play for the win, that's not usually how they roll, and precisely why it worked. Next up, Texans, then the Patriots, which is always a tough out.

I've only seen one Chargers game but is LT as washed up as his stats make it look like or what's happened to him?

Like I've said before, too many miles. Not his fault, running backs just have less shelf life than other players.

Agreed to an extent, but the Bolts O-line isn't exactly creating holes for him either.

I honestly think he is going to step it up for the rest of the season. I also think the coaches are not going to be easy on him like they have in the past and that this will help him. It will be interesting to see. The guy is better than that. I saw him do some amazing stuff at Ohio State. No reason he can't catch those balls.
Also, if we don't get a big play receiver in free agency or the draft, I am going to be pissed. We need a true number 1.

At least the Eagles put a wipping on the Giants to salvage part of my Sunday Big Grin. It was better than the Philles performance last night.

How soon will Tom Cable be escorted out of the Raiders' facility, permanently? I just heard that ESPN - Outside the Lines is working on an upcoming story regarding his history of abusing women.

Leaked by Hanson's lawyers as groundwork for the civil suit that is surely forthcoming. One of his former wives completely denied the allegations.

Absolutely agree but I just didn't realize he had that many miles on him already. It's only been 8 years and 11,000 yards. I had him down as someone who'd be shattering all time records eventually but I guess not.

Is the story balanced? Did they get any comment from Cable for the on air story? Please do not be so quick to judge a person publicly. Do you really believe everything ESPN puts on the air?

He has admitted he slapped his wife. He assaulted and broke the jaw of an assistant coach. He is a terrible coach. Add all of it up and Cable is a douche.

Also, Outside the Lines is a credible news show that does some very good investigative journalism. This isnt sportscenter doing a segment on it.

If violent, abusive a-hole means he's a douche, then he's a douche. If the Oakland Tribune wants a good story, I'd be curious to find out what any of the current or former Raiderettes have to say about cheering for the team these days.

Juicy, don't think for a second that OTL didn't try multiple times to get a comment from Cable for their piece. It's standard practice in the biz, especially with a piece of this nature.

He admitted he slapped his wife once twenty years ago. He was not convicted of assault of an assistant coach. He is a terrible coach.

How much of the segment on "Outside the Lines" was devoted to Cable's side of the story? It was not balanced.

I do not like Cable as a coach from the results the team has had with him as head coach. I do not like how our society will indict and convict a person based on hearsay, rumor, and one-sided so-called journalistic essays based on something that happened twenty years ago. What were any of us doing twenty years ago that could somehow be twisted or contrived into something devious by someone who know longer has our best interests at heart. Are any of us the same as we were twenty years ago?

Ben Roethlisberger is being challenged by a woman. Please let me know when OTL does a segment on that? Is a slap twenty years ago more worthy than her allegation? How would you characterize Ben given similar statements by the offended persons? The similar statement is "he did it". Ben is a star and Cable is clearly not a star. Should they be treated differently?

Indy, Cable's lawyer said they contacted him the Friday before the segment aired. He said/He said in that case on who to believe on timing of contact and number of times contacted. You have much more experience in this field and thank you for the input.

The Raiderettes are likely pissed due to a few recent black-outs and not getting the air time they are due. Lovely ladies.

Cable has admitted he hit one of his wifes, his second wife cited physical abuse in her request for a divorce. The story abot the assistant is out. Cable punched him and broke his jaw. Just because he wasnt charged doesnt mean he didnt do it.

Here is how Cable's case is different than Rothlisbeger, one lady acuses Rothlisberger and there are multiple instances of Cable's violence. The lady that accused Rothlisberger has been widely discredited.

Cable obviously hasnt changed in 20 years. He was violent and abusive. He is still violent and abusive. Hence, he is a douche.

A lady who has been widely discredited can not be raped?

No, it just makes it more likely that she is lying.

Big game for the Bolts tomorrow against the struggling Giants, I think King Phillip is going to terrorize the Giants secondary all game.
