One of the funniest comedians of our time.

Extremely bright and sharp witted, he used comedy to make societal commentary regarding politics, life and the hypocricy in all of it. George had the ability to make his points like no one else.

RIP Mr. Carlin

A legend and a genius. I don't care how many times I've heard his bit on sports, I still crack up.

He will be missed.

RIP

Loved this guy. I wore out 2 of his albums in the 70's, much to my parents displeasure... Big Grin
I heard about his death (that's what he wanted it to be called) on a news radio station this morning. This station is notorius for devoting about 10 seconds to any given story, and for George, they did about 2 minutes.

From memory of about 30 years ago.

I didn't even know he was ill. I hope some comedians get together to do some kind of tribute on comedy central or another of the cable networks. He definately deserves it.

I saw him live five times all except one the funniest shows I have ever been to.The only one not so funny was when he went off on politics which he did often in the 80's. An icon of the comedy world who could take the mondane and make it funny! Remember...Why do we park in a driveway and drive on a parkway? He will be missed yet left so much behind and broke many barriers, Yes George God Bless you and rest in peace you deserve it!

But you can print them.
Do not under any circumstances click this link if you are offended by what is commonly regarded as profanity. It is the transcript of a U.S. Supreme Court decision.

Because no one should ever make fun of "special-needs" people.
