The Jazz couldn't take the lead - even with multiple opportunities. Too many turnovers and missed lay-ups! UGHH!

It was a fun game to watch, even though I was disappointed with the outcome.

Get ready for Game 7.

Jazz definitely had their chances. A writer for the Salt Lake paper wrote: "The Jazz played just well enough to end up disappointed."

Last two games have been great to watch.

Halftime:

The Lakers are PUMMELING the Jazz!

The Jazz fans are especially obnoxious, repressed, and embarrassing tonight, if that is possible.

I enjoyed watching Kobe receive a pass along the baseline, wind up for a reverse-windmill, and Okur barely get a hand on his arm to stop it.

I THOROUGHLY enjoyed watching the dork in the Utah jersey heckling Kobe at the end of that play.

What a first half...

The first three quarters were as good as you can play on the road. Kobe looks about 95%. Should be ready by Wednesday.

Congrats to the Lakers. They came out quicker and more focused, and put the Jazz at a huge disadvantage. I don't understrand how the Jazz could be so flat for such a big game. UGHH!

On behalf of the majority of Jazz fans, I want to apologize for a few sad, pathetic people that chose to display their displeasure with juvenile behavior. The fans in the arena bring great energy to every game, but that same energy can become misguided at times. Again, just a small percentage of boorish, insecure individuals.

I predict that the Spurs will beat the Hornets in Game 7. The Spurs are battle-tested and have a great coaching staff.

In the East, it will be interesting to see if the Celtics have what it takes to win their Game 7 at home.

P.S. The 3-point play by Kobe in the 4th quarter was pretty amazing. He gets fouled 16-18 feet from the basket and still has the strength to bank-in his shot.

The jazz just need a center and they will be one of the best teams in the west. Great year!

Lakersguy-

Very true; they have no interior defense. Their rebounding is solid, but nobody intimidates, blocks shots, etc.

Great win last night and an entertaining series overall. Games were closer and closer although none had a lead change in the last 35 minutes or more.

Lakers played a fantastic first half in Game 6 and Kobe was awesome in the fourth quarter. The run by the Jazz was fueled by 5 three-pointers in the last 2:32. That's a bit freakish.

As for the Jazz, Williams is great but Boozer was exposed in this series. He was bothered by the length and athleticism of Odom and Gasol. He had trouble offensively and couldn't really guard either of them. He needs to step up and vary his game. He's too skilled to rely as much he does on physical play. It backfires on him. The rest of the team is a good collection of parts, especially Milsap. I don't think their defense is that good, though. Remember, they outrebounded the Lakers solidly but lost because the Lakers shot the lights out by getting whatever they wanted.

Can't wait for Wednesday.

Who you like, Spurs or Hornets on Mon night?

If I'm LA, I'd want New Orleans. Not Duncan, Ginob, Parker, etc.

Spurs know how to win big games.

I'd rather face the team that loses game 7. Wink

More seriously, both teams feature extremely quick point guards. Paul is better but the Lakers do have the tools to contain David West. Duncan is a tougher match-up for them. The Spurs also have Bowen to throw at Kobe while the Hornets have no one similar.

Should be fun either way. As Lakers-Hornets matchup will be a terrific off-day antidote to the (anticipated) drudgery of Celtics-Pistons.

I feel the opposite, I think the Lakers would want the Spurs. They know them better, the coaches know one another, and the Spurs are older and slower. 7 games wear on anyone. Plus, if you can get through the Spurs, you can get through anyone.

Either way, it is going to be Spurs vs. Lakers as the Hornets couldn't get back in it. Nice win for the Spurs, the Hornets just came up short, should have played Game 6 like it was 7.

Biggest game of the year tonight for San Antonio. Every team left in these conference finals has strenghts and weakness. I don't see any team left being dominant.
