If only the season were over. The O's would be ahead of the Yankees! Nice while it lasts.

Not hoping for much from my Tigers this year. Pitching sucks, offense no longer looks that dangerous. I was reading "expert" predictions in the paper. 1 of six "experts" had the Tigers winning the AL central. The other 5 had them picked dead last.

CC certainly didn't start my fantasy team out on the right foot.

agreed, nice to finally pull one from Peavy... really, looking at the Dodgers line up, 1-7 is a very formidable... when you have someone like Kemp batting 7th, easy 20-30 guy with a .300 average, hey life aint bad... if the starting pitching can remain solid with the loss of Lowe (Penny & Schmidt were non-factors last season), no reason why the team cant challenge for the NLCS again this season go Doh-yers!

You mean folded like Texiera with RISP? You'll still see my posts, I won't vanish like Wine Wizzard should my team not make the playoffs. I can stick around and take what I deserve should that happen. Until then, enjoy my posts.

Nice 10 spot for the G-men. I'm sure this isn't a sign of things to come, however, I am sure they will be much better than last year. DVD, not sure I like the Kung-Fu-Panda, I still like Little Money if you ask me. Either way, I am pretty optimistic considering the potential in with the pitching, we won't need to score too many runs to win some games, however I think we will!!

Baseball rarity: April 6--PHOENIX (AP)—Tony Clark and Arizona newcomer Felipe Lopez each homered from both sides of the plate, and the Diamondbacks outslugged the Colorado Rockies 9-8 on Monday. Lopez and Clark became the first switch-hitting teammates to homer from both sides of the plate in a game since Jorge Posada and Bernie Williams did it for the New York Yankees on April 23, 2000. It had never been done on opening day. Note by Irwin: It is not that frequent that one switch hitter hits two home runs in the same game, and sometimes the person hits them both from the same side.

I was born and rasied in North Palm Beach so I was growing up when the Braves had their spring training in West Palm Beach. My dad and I would always go to games every year, even on a school day which is a big deal when you are 10. They will always be my favorite team because of the memories. However, I am a big Marlins fan. You gotta love the home team. I go to 8-10 games a year. That will change when they move to the old orange bowl site though. Joe Robbie Stadium is so easy to get to from West Palm; Orange Bowl, not so much.

The nickname, I like the nickname Little Money better, the one I believe Jon Miller gave him last year. He was little money, while Bengie was big money.
