I liked this song back in the day.

The lead singer reminds me of one of our fellow forum members. Wink

AWESOME! I had never seen the music video - even after growing up watching endless hours of MTV. I always wondered what purpose the laser sound effect served. Big Grin

My older brother had this cassette and I would constantly borrow it to listen to this track.

Sorry, but you need to count The Tubes as a two hit wonder with a long time in between. Who can forget growing up with this one.

Your share of the national debt has increased by $6,180 from 10/1 - 9/30/09. Have you told your kids and grand kids they will be paying back your share in addition to their own?

I always liked that one.
Is it my imagination, or did the 80's have more 1-hit wonders than any other decade? Maybe with the advent of Mtv?

That is an interesting question, and there is probably a fair amount of truth in it. The proliferation of bands, managers, record labels, etc. that wanted to cash in on the music video craze certainly created droves of impostors.

Like this one... Big Grin

Not all one hit wonders came from the 80's. Some classics came from the 60's too.

My theme song...
