Hi all, I'm in SP for the week and am wondering if anyone has any good wine experiences down here. As far as I know they don't really grow anything of their own, but are there any good shops? Wine bars? Etc.

I was there a couple months ago, but didn't have a chance to venture out much. I did have good luck with the French wine selections at various mom and pop type Italian restaurants.
If you come across any gems in the city please post as I may end up back there in the new year.

A couple of years ago I actually had a Brazilian Pinot Noir in a restaurant in Coconut Grove that was surprisingly decent... can't remember the name.
