Cohiba Havana Robusto. Many thanks to KSC02 for providing the smoke.

Last weekend with my dad with a little scotch:
Cohiba Siglo IV Cubana

I think my humidity is a little high. Had a little tight draw to start and problem keeping lit about half way through. Overall a good smoke though.

That was indeed the Cohiba Siglo VI, my friend, and my pleasure to provide someone so deserving. Wink

RyJ Churchill at Javier's in Dallas, with a great group of people. Like sharing good wine, it just tasted better with friends and good conversation.

We all had a few last night in our corporate suite at the hockey game.

I enjoyed the La Gloria Cubana Series R No. 7.

First nice weekend in Michigan in a long time. Celebrated with a RyJ Churchill. Every time I smoke one I appreciate the quality of construction. ALWAYS great!

Cigars AND beer for lunch. Red Face

I would need a nap after that lunch.

I've gotta say, W+A, I'm still remembering the evening at Javier's fondly. One of the best 'sit down smoke with friends' I've ever had. A great evening! Wink

A damn fine evening indeed.

There are times like this we must just sit down and cure all the worlds issues. Cool

Trade a used humidor for a glass or bottle of wine.
I have a small (25 or 50 count)romeo and julieta 125th anniversario humidor. It has the r & J label and on top. There are a few scatches to clear coat finish, seal on it is great.
Would prefer NYC or LI (could arrange trade at an offline as well)

I had my brother and my cousin over last night for dinner, along with their families. Afterwards, the guys headed out to the deck. We enjoyed 3 beautifully aged Monte Cristo no. 2s, courtesy my cousin, and 1 1/2 bottles of Remy Extra Fine Champagne Cognac, courtesy me. It's only mid-April up here, but we had perfect deck weather all day and evening. Great conversation. Great time. Nothing like family.

San Cristobal de la Habana (Cuba) - El Morro (double corona).

Smooth, not overly tight (wrapped), with a hint of spice. Beautiful draw. Burned perfectly (was well kept in the humidor) and never went out once. Accompanied with some XO, of course.

Last week I had to travel over to Windsor, Canada to visit a Supplier. While there I really had the hankering for a couple of my favorites (Romeo y Julieta Churchill). Decided, WTH, I'll take 2. Later that afternoon, returning to the States, I stopped to pay duty on some 'Supplier Samples' at the border. Completly forgetting about the 2 Cubanos in my center console. While inside paying the duty, good ol' Homeland Security decided to browse through my vehicle and, sure enough (they weren't hidden) they came across them in the Console. My God, you'd have thought I was caught smuggling Heroin. CLEARLY, I didn't take the Country's 'embargo' seriously. After emptying the entire contents of my car looking for more, they finally let me go. But not until I signed a document entitled "abandonment of illegal substances at the border". Mad

We'll all sleep better tonight, knowing those two Cubanos didn't get across the border. Homeland Security is at the helm.

And yes, Chile, I take my responsibility of the risk, and accept it. I'm a big boy. But that doesn't change my attitude of the reality being that this was nothing more than a Government Sanctioned mugging. I hope they get sick on them. Razz

KSC02. Always remove the band on the cigar when travelling, even if it's not across any borders. Rookie mistake. Cool

Nothing like a weekend morning cigar and iced coffee. Fuente Double Chateau with the natural wrapper. A great smoke for the $$

Yesterday, I just finished up my last of a few Padron 3000s (maduro/robusto) that were smoking quite nicely.

I don't think I've ever had a cigar this early in the morning, unless I hadn't yet been to sleep! Wink

Cigar and coffee are one of my favorite pairings without a doubt. Cool

Blew down a Bolivar in a Maduro wrapper yesterday at lunch. Not sure which one. It was a Churchill cut.
