I loved this movie in the 80s. I will check out the new one but a lot of remakes are poorly done. Anyone looking forward to this?

I didn't even realize it was being done. I, too, loved the the 80's movie, although the mechanical owl, was a bit of a stretch.

I will look forward to the remake!

I'm not sure the Harry Hamlin flick qualifies. Laurence Olivier was really slumming.
As I recall, the special effects weren't much of an improvement over the stop-motion animation of '60's flicks like Jason and the Argonauts.
