What channel is covering the AC Milan game this weekend?

It doesn't appear than any stations are broadcasting the AC Milan game. No big deal. Nothing interesting to watch there, anyway.
Big game is Juve away to Fiorentina on Sunday. It'll be aired on Fox Soccer Channel. Great resource to see what stations are airing what games: LiveSoccerTV. It applies to all leagues, not just Serie A. So ... for those looking to watch the game, you'll have to find an online stream. For those interested (PURPLE, VT2IT), just email me. I'll send you a ditty of info. |

That LiveSoccer site is pretty cool fut. Thanks for the link. There's almost TOO much information!

No problem. I agree it's great. The only downside is that you're basically going to be watching soccer nonstop between now and May, since there's always something on.

You say that as if it is a bad thing. I have to work Sunday morning and am unlikely to be able to catch much of the Milan game. I will try my best to have the Juve/Fiorentina game discreetly running on my computer in the afternoon though. Go Viola! Between PURPLE and myself that happens right now. The site just means we'll spend less time looking for games so we'll have more time to watch more games! Joe ----- Wine is like potato chips around me...if it's open, it's gone. |

Juventus and Fiorentina both got tough draws for the Champions League. Fiorentina especially has a hard road to the knock out round with Olypique Lyonnais and Bayern Munich in their group. Juve also may not make it having to play Real Madrid and Zenit St. Petersburg. It is looking more likely that Arshavin will be playing for Zenit.
Roma have to beat out Bordeaux and some unknown Romanian team to go through with Chelski. Inter also should have no problem with Werder Bremen being the toughest opposition. As for Milan, well they face Zurich in the (cough, cough) Uefa Cup. Sigh. "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have." Gerald Ford |

Definitely a tough draw for Juve. Heck, Zenit beat Manchester United yesterday in the Super Cup. It's not like Man U fielded a lesser team either.

Tough day for Milan I agree. For Juve, Ranieri has to go. Against Fiorentina last week in the 89th minute he takes off a midfielder and puts in a striker and the Viola promptly tie the match. Where is Lippi, Trappotoni, or Mickey Mouse.
Forza Juve, not Ranieri. |

It was a great goal by Gilardino though. Too bad he never did that for Milan.
Of the five principal contenders four tied and Milan lost, good thing they have two weeks to work things out. "A government big enough to give you everything you want, is strong enough to take everything you have." Gerald Ford |

Well Grosso and Gamberini both left injuried in the first half and the game ended with Cannavaro down and being worked on. As for the game --- holy crap did Italy get lucky. Cyprus totally out played them and should have won by two at least. Isn't there anybody in Italy who knows how to play defense? Zambrotta was the only one who played at all well in the back. Cassetti was just awful, completely asleep on Cyprus' goal. Thank god for Di Natale, two for Udinese last weekend and now two for Italy, the last in stoppage time. Any road win in World Cup qualifing is a good thing, but this was ugly. After this game, and their brutal friendly versus Austria, Italy clearly has a lot to work on. Well the Azzuri sure did leave it to late. I Had to leave the match with some trepidation in the 75th minute with the score tied. Glad to see the win, but the quality sure has to improve. Hope the match in Udine against Georgia later this week is a littler easier and more cohesive. Calling all defenders.

Damn it! Gattuso broke his wrist training with the Azzurri and will be out at least a month.

I had a bad feeling about these two WCQs. Too bad about the two defenders who were injured and too bad about Gattuso.
