Psst ... VT2IT - 2-1 Atalanta. Big Grin No score in the Juve-Inter match at the half for Coppa Italia, but Inter is down to 10 men due to a bad tackle in the 8th minute. Straight red!

I have to say - since the match-fixing scandal, riots/violence etc.,players leaving for Spain Germany and England, my interest in Serie A really has waned. The games seem to be on less this year as they are not really on Gol TV much and FSC shows the Premier League more - anyway I have been watching La Liga and the English league much more this year. I guess that we went to Spain this year probably played into that.

Oh man. Yet another game that Milan dominates possession but can't put the ball in the net. They start to press then give up goals on the counter. So much talent, and so little results. Frown For you Futronic all I can say is go Inter, and I hate Inter. But the Copa is a title just those who are not in the CL care about. Razz

Well Futronic your boys came back from 2-0 today to tie. But how do you fall behind by 2 when you are up a man? I guess I can't talk though after the Rossoneri's showing in Bergamo. Frown Mad Confused

Exactly. You just shush over there. Razz

Regardless of going down two goals, to get a draw away at the San Siro bodes well for Juve. The two away goals are especially important. A win at home or even a 0-0 or 1-1 draw will see them through to the semis.

I know Futronic drinks a lot of italian wine but now he's even typing with an Italian accent.

Futronic - Inter 2 - Juve 2. It was a weid game. Inter had a man sent off in the 8th minute, promtly went ahead 2-0, then juve hit two late goals to tie the game. The return match is in Turin, with Juve up two away goals.

Start worrying Futronic. Pato is the next great Brazilian. Milan will clearly be in the top four by seasons end, will Juve?

It is very disappointing that GolTV didn't get the Italian League this year, I really enjoyed the commentators. Fox doesn't show enough Italian games and I'm disappointed with Fox and the EPL games they do show for that matter.

Yes, Juve will be in the top four. Milan, if they keep things up, might squeak in.

As for FSC, they should a decent amount of games, usually live.

Purple - you could always stream the games via P2P and output to a TV, but it's not going to be the same quality (good enough, for the most part).

Here in Massachusetts, FSC shows up to three live Serie A games per week. Usually one on Saturday afternoon and two on Sunday, one at 9:00 am EST and one at 2:30 pm EST. These games are live.

Last week it was Juve - Livorno in the afternoon. A great 3-1 Juve victory.

Ok, so the Inter game is Sunday, delayed, squeaks in on FSC right before the Superbowl.
So Fox has 5 live games this weekend and delays mostly the Italian games while GolTV has 8 live games(Bundlesliga and Spanish) and Man U plays on on Setanta ( the premium station)Actually all the Man U games from 1/27 to 2/2 are only available on Setanta.
Why can't Fox show more live games.

I'm not famililar with P2P.

A win for Milan today in one of their games in hand. They continue to move up in the standings. Pato was very impressive once again, the best player on the pitch. If the Rossoneri can pull off a win in Florence on Sunday they will be only four points out of the CL with one game still in hand. Of course if they leave with no points they will be 10 behind the Viola, and in big trouble. As for the worthless Copa, in my best Howard Cosell "down goes Juve, down goes Juve". Inter, Catania and the two Rome teams go on to the semis, yawn.

What seemed with minutes to go as a great day for Milan, a win in Florence, Pato scores again, turned to crap. First Kaka went down and then in stoppage time Pato got what looked to be a bad ankle injury. Everything was looking so good for the Rossoneri, Kalac playing great in goal, Pato being wildly better than I could have ever hoped. Then disaster. Mad Frown At least Juve didn't win today. Smile

Finally watched the Inter-Milan V. Catania game.
Woah, what a bad "non call" on Cambiasso's goal when he was offside.
I can see why everyone is complaining about the referees.

Juventus is now only 1 point adrift of Roma for second place and an automatic bid to the Champions League next year. A great free kick by Alex Del Piero made a 1-0 Juve victory very sweet.

Milan wins to move into fourth place, thank you again Super Pippo. Only six points back of Juve after their lose down in Calabria Saturday. Juve has their derby on Wednesday, Milan is at Catania, Fiorentina is home to Livorno, and in the match of the day Roma is at the San Siro to try and cut into Inter's 9 point lead. With 14 games left, nothing is decided yet. Go Rossoneri!!!

After this weekend Milan is one back of Fiorentina for fourth and five behind evil Juve. Next Sunday they have to travel south to face Roma, that's going to be a tough one. Milan is the only one of the top seven teams to be on the road, I'm hoping for a tie. As for the Champions League Frown, Roma will now get my support. Even if Inter somehow overturn their deficit, there is no way I will ever cheer for them.

Finally Juve gets off the snide (didn't think it would ever happen) and from a very unlikely source. Grygera, a Czech defender, had a goal and an assist.

So the talks between Milan and Barca are stalled over the transfer fee for Ronaldinho. Good, the last thing Milan needs is an over the hill prima donna. He is but a shadow of the player he used to be. The same of course can be said for Shevchenko who Berlusconi so desperately wants back. As for Ronaldinho, were would he even play. He plays the same position as Kaka, and it's not even close as to who is now the better option. Milan would be better served to search out more up and coming players like Pato. That and try to sign somebody on D under 30 years old.

Looks like Juve has secured at least a play in Champion's League spot for next year. They could still get second place and pip Roma, if Roma slips up

Just root for Juve while you watching Milan play in the UEFA Cup next year or the Coppa Italia, since they won't be playing in the Champions League.

Milan is not out of the Champions League yet. They have to win the derby on Sunday to have any hope though. That and have Fiorentina fall to one of the three crappy teams they have to play still. Silvio is back in office and AC Milan will be in the CL, at least that's the way it should be.
