No dining recommendations. But I have some wine recommendations that are a couple of years old.

If you strike out on specific recommendations, you probably can't go too far wrong dining in a find dining establishment in one of the top hotels, like the Peninsula or some other of that calibre.

Probably not a place for an anniversary meal, but I've been taken out for reasonably priced Chinese food twice by locals on two separate visits to Hong Kong and both times it was to the American Restaurant at 20 Lockhart Rd. in Wanchai. It was years ago so I don't recall much more than the name. Don't let the name fool you, it's full of locals and as Chinese as it gets.

Thanks, We're staying at the Intercontinental and are planning one meal at the Steakhouse there.

i don't recommend the steak as they're overpriced and not much more unique then your typical american fan fare.

I have in my address book:

Nobu - Intercontinental Hotel
Spoon - Intercontinental Hotel
Bo Innovation - www.boinnovation.com

I have not been so I can't personally recommend. I picked these up somewhere, not sure where. NY Times or Gourmet? I was thinking of going to Bo Innovation next time I visit.
