Agreed. Name a better MVP than Peyton this year.

-IB

I don't know if they're better but Matt Ryan has turned around that team pretty quickly. What was the name of their former QB, Michael something?

Breeze and Bulger have also been having amazing seasons as far as stats go and when Bulger didn't perform in New England Sunday that team looked like junk so he'd definitely be in my top five also.

Agreed with Brees. Great guy (he served me lunch at his frat house one day, when he attended Purdue), and great vision out there on the field. Might not be this year, but Brees will get either an MVP or ring (maybe both) one of these years.

Don't you mean Warner? And it's Brees, not Breeze.

Hope Brees is still in New Orleans when he gets both the MVP and a ring.

I hope this continues on Sunday. I would love to see the Dolphins win at the Meadowlands. I want it for the team and for Pennington. Speaking of which, He isn't flashy, but I do hope he gets some votes for MVP. I doubt he will win, but I do believe that he is worthy of consideration, particularly if the Phins win on Sunday.

Yes that is what I meant. Frazzled by the holiday shopping I guess.

Anyhow now that the Pats have taken care of business as usual I've been practicing all week and can finally do this. J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets! Brett Favre please for once in your life don't go back to being the over rated QB you have been for the past 5 years. One more time J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!

I think it's poetic justice.

Speaking of poetic justice, I'm glad to see Pennington lead the Phins to the playoffs! Congrats Keeno!

Thanks! Although I didn't have much to do with it. I know we will get torched by Baltimore next week, but I am going to savor this.

By the way, I hope Parcells doesn't leave. I have no idea what Huizenga is doing.

As a life long Phins fan, it felt good to finally beat the Jets in a very meaningful game.

It is especially poignent because the Jets unceremoniously jettisoned Pennington to pursue the guy who played G.B. like a fiddle, and who nobody else wanted anyway.

Down here we say that "Favre is the best thing to have happened to the Dolphins!" Still, it is hard to believe that the Phins have come from a 1-15 season to WIN the AFC East.

Keeno, the Phins have very good ball control, they don't make a lot of mistakes, and not many penalties or turnovers. I can wait to see the spread on the game.

clearly, it's the coaching staff and the front office bravado who should get the spotlight. Miami basically had the same staff that went 1-15 ... the coaches did a fantastic job pulling that team together.

Mangini's had his time and has got to go.

I guess it goes to show you how brutal the AFC West is. Full of world beaters! Wink 8-8, and playoff bound for my Chargers! Go Bolts!!!

Playoff bound indeed. LT looks like the LT of old. It kills me to say it but they deserve to be there over Denver just for the screw job they got in the earlier match up. Justice is served for them. For my Pats unfortunately I guess there's next year to look forward too. Either more of Cassel or the return of Brady but there's reports out tonight that his rehab is behind schedule. I hate to say it but I hope they're putting out those reports just so they can franchise Cassel and decide where he goes from here for next year. Too bad their great season had to start and end on such bad notes but it was a fun one to watch.

I said before the season started neither the Jets nor the Packers would make the playoffs. I guess I was right, but I was surprised at just how poorly the Packers did this year

The Jets blew it, hate to say it, but with a different QB they would be in the playoffs. Favre was in perfect position, and blew it. I believe he blew an even better opportunity last year with that huge turn over in OT. Its over, time to hang it up.

Looks like Chad got the last laugh on the Jets. Nice to see the Dolphins in the playoffs after surviving the Dolphin/Heat meltdown of last year.
