I predict Dallas will win the NFC East and the Giants will be a Wild Card. If Terrell Owens gets injured, I'll reverse that.

Just one more sip.

Agree with Dallas winning the NFC east. Sleeper team people better watch out for is Carolina....if they can stay healthy which never happens.

Do they drug test the refs. Ed Hockuley has to be on the juice. He is like 60 and just as big as the linebackers.

Ok, FWIW, my picks for the season, open to ridicule of course, Wink.

AFC East: Patriots
AFC North: Steelers
AFC South: Colts
AFC West: Bolts (duh)

NFC East: Giants
NFC North: Vikings
NFC South: Bucs
NFC West: Seahawks

Wild Cards: Cowboys, Lions, Jags, Jets

AFC: Chargers over the Pats
NFC: Seahawks over the Cowboys

Superbowl: Bolts over the Hawks!!!
(a more realistic pick is probably the Patriots over the Cowboys Frown )

The Seahawks will only make the playoffs due to the fact that they play in a pathetic division. However, they will lose in the 1st round.

Same with which ever team wins the NFC north. There is now way a wild card team is coming out of that division.

Dude, the football team in Los Angeles is going to rock this season….oh wait. Come on people, one of the biggest markets in the US, Dodgers, Angels, Lakers, Clippers, Kings, Ducks all draw good crowds!!! Build it, the fans will come (it might be in the 2nd quarter, but they will get there Wink).

We like to be fashionably late.

Just a matter of time before a team comes to LA... or OC which may be a better idea.

For the most part all safe pics but the wildcard picks don't work for me (the Cowboys should win their division) and the Bucs in the NFC south?

one thing you're forgetting in your equation is by playing the weak NFC West, the Hawks will most likely win the division and have the 1st round playoff game at home (which is a huge advantage for them) where they've won 3 out of the last 4 first round games. not to mention this team should be better than last season, and i'm hoping the Hawks can send Holmgren out nicely with a trip to at least either the Divisional or NFC Champ game.

I disagree. The believe that the Seahawks are on the decline. They will lose in the 1st round, regardless of where the game is played.

no problem, i disagree with the above as well... Hasselbeck is in his prime, Shaun is gone, brought in Wahle to be a more serviceable replacement on the left side with Walter Jones, new O-Line coach Solari (highly regarded from KC) brought in, and the defensive unit keeps getting better & better... they're not up to the level of the 05' Superbowl team but on paper they are much improved from last season. only time will tell.

Hell no, don't want any NFL team in OC or LA for that matters. Don't want to have to watch these losers every weekends...

Clairvoyant? Your statement makes no sense, who knows what team would come to LA and how they would play.

I have no beef with SoCal, I live there Smile
Like I said, a team here would mean no more Cowboys games on TV for me Smile

Tomorrow is Seahawks/Bills, followed by Panthers/Chargers, then Bears/Colts. Life is good.
