It was the first 11-10 game in NFL history.

Just one more sip.

But the Steelers should have had a touchdown as time expired...

Indybob do you have a fork handy? If so, please stick it in your Chargers, as they are done. Big Grin

The Chargers are like cats; they have 9 lives since they play in the AFC West.

Ha! No kidding! 8-8 might win the division. At least they have a reprieve next week as the Colts roll into town. Colts are on a bit of a roll, but no matter, it'll end as my Chargers get back on track.

In the first half, the Niners actually looked like a football team. At least that game broke up the 2-7 logjam at the bottom of the NFC West....

I was just looking at the Sports Illustrated NFL preview issue in a medical waiting room today--they picked the Lions to finish 7-9, ahead of the Bears.

Does that mean they'll win the rest of their games?

It probably means that SI isn't that good at predicting records. 1-15 sounds about right.

My big game next week is gonna be the Jets at Titans. I'm hoping Farve can knock them off their undefeated pedestal. I hope the pats dont make the playoffs and Farve gets mvp now that he doesn't play for the packers.

And the Broncos won again yesterday. Who'd a thunk it?

All three starting linebackers: out.

All four tailbacks: out. They signed three tailbacks this week, including Tatum Bell who was managing a retail store at Aurora Mall, one with zero carries this year, and one with no carries in THREE years. And they STILL managed to outgain Atlanta on the ground.

And BTW, the two non-Tatum Bell signees: down with injuries. Look for more signings this week.

Smoke. And mirrors.

But still two games up on the Bolts. Big Grin

Not that the Donkeys will go anywhere. But who would have predicted they would be two games up with the lack of talent compounded by tons of major injuries?

Not to mention the sixth round draft choice who started at linebacker, AND at fullback, AND on special teams. Bring back ol' leatherhead, Bronco Nagurski.

Moo

If Favre can beat the Titans and go 8-3 It would be a show I would watch if Gary V could get Favre to taste wines with him on one of his shows. Smile

Glad you took care of that. I forgot.

I'll remind him of it again when he visits my house on 12/6. Maybe I'll have his seat decorated in Cowboy colors.

Some nice payback today for those squishy fish for running it up last time on the Pats.

Vinatieri is $$$. That guy's got icewater in his veins, but I already knew that.

Has a sub .500 team ever made the playoffs? Someone from that pathetic AFC west is going to slide in eventually. Might not be the Bolts though. C'mon Indy sing it with me, Sandiiiiieeeeeeego Supersuuuuuuuckers!

Frown Yep, I was there, and the first thing I thought when the Bolts lamely went for the OT by not going for it on fourth and two was Uh-Oh!!! You don't give Peyton 90 seconds at the end of any game. That's where Manning lives, plus Vinatieri is money, as you know. Now, if the Broncos will just keep sucking, San Diego may be the first 7-9 team to ever make the playoffs (where they'll probably get rolled by New England in the wild card: Frown Frown)
