If they can't manufacture some sort of pass rush though they won't get anywhere in the playoffs though anyway even if they can catch the broncs.
we still got 4 games against the other crappy teams in the division. No worries, we'll make the playoffs with an 8-8 record!

Even with what he has accomplished to date, I wouldn't call him an "unqualified bust". A disappointment, absolutely, but I think bust goes too far. And you are certainly right about getting that TE on day two....

not just a 1st rounder, but a lottery pick... i think compared to expectations (and not unwarranted), he can be considered a pretty big disappointment... he wasn't drafted because of his blocking skills - he was drafted because he had the highest YPC average of any TE in college history and the combine where (i believe) he ran the fastest 40yd dash for a TE in combine history... granted the 49'ers issues at QB, and their struggles on offense since he's been there haven't helped his numbers

I don't think a new stadium will fix their issues. I just hope they don't waste Peterson's career like the Lions wasted Barry Sanders.

Anybody catch the question that the sideline reporter asked Singletary? It got cut from the telecast, but apparently was still audible on the live feed. She asked (paraphrasing here) if Singletary had spoken to his mentor, Bill Walsh, after getting the head coaching job. Uh, Walsh died in 2007.... I would make the obligatory "Women don't belong on the sidelines of football games" comment , but then I wouldn't get to look at Erin Andrews....

New stadium? It seems like just yesterday when they got the Metrodome. I remember going to games at the old Metropolitan stadium as a little guy and not wearing gloves in the cold was cool.

At least they won't be playing prevent defense for 4 quarters anymore.

God I hope not. The Pats get your second and fifth round picks this year. The worse you do the better they do so everyhting else aside I hope they lose out. It won't happen, but I can hope.

Ravens: Went up 10-0 in the first quarter. Then, down 27-13 in the 3rd quarter. Scored the next 24 points and won, 37-27. Quite a game.

Wow... can't believe I missed that. I don't know why they even have the sideline reporters. It would be better if they showed a hot, big breasted woman doing jumping jacks for those 30 seconds instead.

Fox did not do that for me, I think you have to blame your local station.

I thought the Dallas defense would keep them in the game. Wrong.
Just one more sip.

They were my preseason pick to win the Superbowl, so I was far off on that one, but the Giants were my #2 pick.
