Well seeing as how I'm embarrased by the viking performance against the lions. The cowboys now have Brad Johnson and Brooks Bollinger. Two former vikings that will not be able to complete a pass of more than twenty yards, unless they have a screen pass to marion barber who by the way was a golden gopher. Wink

Cowboys not so lucky. I saw today it was the first time since 1984 our so called special teams allowed this to happen, and now our punter is out 8 weeks. Mad

Well, you will find out VERY quickly if the Cowboys have any character, and if any leadership exists outside of Romo.

All in all, a tough football weekend for you. But look on the bright side, at least you don't cheer for the Raiders. Frown

A very entertaining MNF game right now. My Browns are finally looking like the team that the Browns faithful, and others, expected them to be - even without Winslow. The penalties are killing them though. I hope I am not jinxing them. Well, It doesn't look like I am as an Eli pickoff was just returned about 90 yds for a TD!!

Who's the Dallas Cowboys number 1 fan with the best seat in every game?
Wade Phillips, because don't tell me is doing more than cheering for the Cowboys every week.

Well he also throws the challenge flag... when Romo lets him.

Adding to the good week in big D I heard Pac Man was suspended indefinitely. I guess a skunk just can't change it's stripes.

Heard it was a 4 week suspension with a meeting with league officials to see what happens after that. Still, not pretty.

Eli may be out for awhile with the Giants. The NFC East will be in flux throughout the season.
Still one of the better divisions in the NFL this year along with the AFC South and the NFC South.

It is time to cut bait with that loser. At least Jerry Stretchyface has said that he will no longer provide Pacman with a "protective posse" and that he is now on his own if he returns. But again, the point should be moot. Goodell should ban him for life....

Ms. Pacman will make things easier for everyone. He will not be able to control himself during his indefinite suspension. I give him less than three weeks before he self-implodes...again.

Pacman is nothing more than a punk with prison in his future, near future unless something changes soon.

Oh, they have "character" alright! He's a born leader. I mean, just one look at him and you'd selflessly follow this guy into battle! The Cowboys are a lucky team indeed.

Roy Williams to Dallas too! That's going to be one hell of an offense if Romo comes back strong.

Their already questionable secondary is now in real trouble though and I can tell you from a most unfortunate recent experience that defense does indeed wins championships.

Perhaps Williams was a nice acquisition. What he does in '08 will determine that.

As for Romo, you have a Marino who can fling the ball for 300 yrds game after game on one side, and a Testaverde who can throw interceptions at will on the other. If he comes back strong it will be just that, a pretty big "if."

Thank you Dallas for the draft picks. I'm a little sad to see Williams go, as he is a good player, but he was probably headed out the door anyway. We still have Johnson, who is also a stud reciever, and now the Lions have a nice package of draft picks to work with. Not only that, but Millen is gone, so there is (slightly) less chance that they will screw them up. This is the first good news the Lions have had in a year.

I figure Detroit is only a couple more years away from their second playoff victory ever!!! Roll Eyes

Redhawk, draft picks are not the problem of the Lions. Goodness knows, they have had MANY great picks the last number of years. If is what they do with the pick! Wink

I thought the rolleyes were generally understood to mean sarcasm.

I repeat: Millen is gone, so there is a slightly lower chance of them screwing up the draft. Note that the baseline here was HIGH probability. Now it is only slightly lower.

Hmmmm... should they go for a QB this year, or another wide receiver? Roll Eyes<---(sarcasm)
