It's going to be a real challenge, but the Hawks are slowly getting their beleagered receiver corps back together with Bobby Engraham and Deion Branch back in action, or at least very close to it. When Hasselbeck has confidence in his receivers, he's much more effective. That, combined with some improved running with Julius Jones, could make this a more interesting game than I'm sure the East Coast media is anticipating.

Having Plaxico on the bench won't hurt either, say what you will about his domestic life or his ability to come to meetings on time, he can play ball. The Giants didn't look all that great against the Bengals either, fingers crossed.

Edwards had a freak accident during training in August and has not fully recovered. Donte Stallworth stepped on the back of his heel when Edwards was running sprints in his bare feet.
