W+A, I'm sorry. This is shaping up to be the game of the year! Great action so far.

This is a FANTASTIC game. Great to see Donovan rejoin the ranks of the elite QBs. Great decision making, rocket arm, and doesn't hurt that he can flick linebackers off like fleas. Hate to see one of them lose. These two teams, plus NYG should figure at the end of the season.

Anybody else digging on the NFL house ads featuring Spanish speakers? I think they're pretty fresh, and fun. I had the good fortune to be at a Colts/Cowboys preseason game in Mexico City a few years back. 75 percent of the fans at Stadio Azteca were Dallas fans, the other 25% were Steelers fans.

Please don't give credence to those commentators. They are all full of it.

Sorry, Indy, but no way. Two fumbles in clutch situations. Forcing passes at the end when he could have run for 10 yards. While I think "choke" might be too strong of a word, he certainly didn't perform like an elite QB when it mattered most.....

Buffalo was more stupid mistakes and special teams then getting lit up. that 49'ers game was a combination of fortuitous INT's and the secondary giving up big play after big play on 3rd down... i think Bruce had 150+ yds on 4 catches! in the words of Chris Berman, "Cuhhhhmon Seattle..." they should have won that game but the D let SF drive down the field on them 2x, once at the end of regulation and then during OT. im not surprised they lost the Buffalo game, more suprised the way they lost... it's 50/50 now for a playoff season in my mind, only thing they have going for them is the NFC Weak, but whats scary is even the in division home games aren't a gimme anymore Payne - MCL (season) Engram - Broken Shoulder (6-8 weeks) Mo Morris - Sprained Knee (indefinite) Burelson - ACL (season) Sims (starting RG) - Torn Pectoral (season) Locklear (starting RT) - Sprained Knee (indefinite) Obomanu - (Broken Collar Bone, IR to start the season) Trufant - Cracked bone in hand (playing) Tatupu - Brusied knee & damaged thumb (knee drained and hand casted, playing) Jennings - Broken Rib (playing) Wallace - Calf (4+ weeks) only healthy WR's on the roster are Courtney "i drop the ball like it's 2004" Taylor, Billy "i wasn't here last week" McMullen & Michael "practice squad hero" Bumpus... that's it... 3 WR's (though word is Koren "i drink and drive AND return kicks" Robinson will be signed by the end of the day) WTF god hates the seahawks

To me, they will not go to the Superbowl with this defense, even with the talent they have in the secondary they are allowing too many plays. Though, the best play of the game for the D was the rookie M. Jenkins saving the TD. And speaking about rookie, Felix Jones, wow...

Let's give the Defense one more week against Green Bay then discuss. Eagles know how to work the Cowboys defense, however I agree we were missing tackles too much. However, now we have Roy Williams out. I'm still waiting for Pacman to be a playmaker. And for that matter, Tank seems to be subdued.

Why do they have the very bright Steve Young interacting with a dimwit like Emmitt Smith in the first place?! Being as articulate as Steve must make it tough to be paired with a guy who can barely utter two words without stumbling all over them. That said, the Cowboys showed that they CAN face some adversity early and not fold up the tent. They certainly have the most talent in the league (on paper anyway,)but I am not completely sold on Romo. Some of his decision making is suspect, and no team can afford that if you are going to run a high powered offense. Great game for the Cowboys, but can anybody tell me who is more annoying or scary to look at than Jerry Jones??!! He can almost make an ordinary fan switch to a Dolphin game!!

I agree with all that and I'd add he never was an elite QB to begin with. Elite QB's (former or current) should know where the goal line is before they flip the ball away. He's way to inaccurate a passer to ever be with Manning, Brady and the rest of the true elite's.
