Bears 34, Colts 10 or 14

Rex will have a good game. He's better than most think. Peyton will have his hands full. The Bears defense will score at least one TD and set the offense up for two more.

Colts fans get your shots in now, because once the game begins you will see that my crystal ball is right on target.

I'm just hoping for a close game. Neither of these teams will be back there next year unless they're very lucky. There hasn't been a real suoper power since the Cowboys of the mid 1990s. The patriots were very good, but just the best in the league, not the powerhouse Dallas assembled.

Just one more sip.

Pretty safe bet, Board-O. Only one game out of three of the last 40 Superbowls has featured a team from the previous year's game.

The only prediction I dare to make is that there will be a significant amount of turnovers if it keeps up raining.

Football is just something to while away the time til the real sport springs anew. Pitchers and catchers report in less than 2 weeks!

Just one more sip.

He knows wine and cooking. Otherwise, he's a rank amateur. Wink And as far as the Cowboys are concerned, they are watching the Superbowl on TV just like my lousy Redskins and a bunch of other big mutts. The days of dynasties in football are probably a thing of the past....

Baseball is only slightly less boring than soccer.

Until they give all the players bats at the same time, and encourage them to use them on each other, I won't watch it. Once it becomes the Rollerball of the future, pay-per-view baby.

If man was meant to play this abomination of a game, he would have been born without arms.

We could replace the various methods of execution by simply boring the condemned to death. Make them watch soccer.

It goes without saying I'm a NFC guy, but must admit I'm happy for Tony Dungy.

He has endured what no parent should ever endure, and glad he has a moment of happiness.

O.K. Rex is as bad as everyone said.

MVP of that game should be the Indy offensive line. The defense hardly got close to Peyton. I counted one sack and one rushed throw. He had all the time in the world and they probably should have scored more points. Not to mention how they ran all over the Bears.

Oh Well. Next year.

Maybe the Cubbies can do something this summer.

My summary:

Good game - not great.

Rex Grossman was awful.

Prince was amazing.

That'll do it.
