Headed to New Orleans, and West Palm Beach..

Possibly Cape Cod as well. New Orleans is business and the wife is coming down. West Palm is a timeshare presentation....

wanted to know if people were staying local due to the recession and gas prices...

Next trip is 10 days in Montreal. There just happens to be an offline going on while I am there. Imagine that.

This year is sadly lacking in travel. I blame school and work.

Next week: San Francisco
Second week in July: Boulder, CO
End of December: somewhere warm, maybe Puebla Mexico for food, art and architecture.

Other than that we'll schedule some weekend trips here and there. We now have many people to see in Dallas.

Gah. This list makes me sad. It's my worst travel year in a long time.

Just got back from a 4 day weekend in Chicago. Does that count? Wink

Going to a family reunion in Tennessee over the July 4th weekend. No, that one doesn't count. Mad

The real vacation this year is Italy. October 16th through 29th. Two full weeks. The first one will be in roughly the Tuscany region. The second in the Piedmont region. Smile

Oh, by the way, the two week Italy trip is mine and PURPLE's 25th Wedding Anniversary trip. Cool

Nothing too spectacular this year with the newborn. I'm sure we'll go to the family house in Hilton Head a half dozen times as the price is right. Smile Other than that, we may get back to Napa for our annual pilgrimage and try to catch a Raiders game.

With any luck the family will come to us for the holidays.

A friend and I are going to do a car rally called The Bull Run, from Calgary to Phoenix in late June.

Then it's taking the kids camping.

Before and after is being a worker bee.

Hmmm...I'm changing jobs and moving across the country (well 600 miles.) Unfortunately my vacation will probably be spent at home this year. Though the wife and I may tag along with the in-laws to Florida for New Years.

The wife's pregnant so nowhere for long time. We took a trip to Sonoma back at the end of Januaray and I knew that was going to be it for a while.

We're just finishing a summer vacation home on a lake in northern Michigan, so we'll be up there every chance we get.
