lizardking - Joe Staley replaced Harris. Patrick Willis is a starting linebacker - but you will hear his name a whole lot this year too....

Dallas' D looked as bad as last year.
Roy Williams seemed to be a minute late on each play he was involved in.
I thought he was gonna be closer to the line of scrimmage this year but not so far.
Thank god we have a great O!

Hey at least they had the lead in the fourth quarter. That's a huge step in the right direction.

how did Hamlin do? he's a good Strong Safety and great at covering the line, but he's mediocre at best in coverage, and i didnt really understand why the Cowboys picked him up? he's basically a poor man's Roy Williams, and to me, Dallas needed a cover saftey more... he didn't get the nickname "The Hammer" from being a good cover guy Wink

There was no coverage from Dallas. That's why Manning and NY racked up 35 points. I don't remember Hamlin but Demarcus Ware was a non factor and Reeves was AWFUL in covering Burress.

Did not see the Panthers win coming, will believe in them if they are 3 and 1 after week four.

Yeah, T. Newman needs to be back for next week and W. Phillips needs to do something about this Defense.

Buffalo fans, my heart goes out to Kevin Everett and his family. A terrible injury, but I hope for a speedy recovery.

Ok, so I am not the biggest NFL fan...but I've been seeing a lot of Reggie Bush lately, and I like it! The man has some serious football skills, and apparently soccer skills too. Thought this was amusing, Reggie Bush giving soccer a whirl...a man many talents.

NFC is very week. I think the Steelers with Mike Tomlin as coach will be the AFC sleeper! Razz

seeing as my beloved Hawks went 9-7 last year without their Offensive starters playing 1 snap together last season, hopefully they'll win 11 games this year & a 4th straight NFC West crown

revamped Defense this year Dom, and not to mention, still won the NFC West despite 2 losses to SF... if the team *knock* *knock* stays healthy, the 49ers & Cardinals shouldnt give the Hawks as much trouble as they did last year

We'll see this week. I am sooooo sick of being a home team underdog (and choking up leads on MNF)!
