Coming home from work today was listening to a New Wave/Punk CD mix I just made of 80's bands I hadn't listened to much lately - my faves from Sonic Youth, Gang of Four, Martha & the Muffins, and Romeo Void.

Strange Fruit - Trijntje Oosterhuis/Bluenote.

Great interpretations of Jazz standards. Fantastic voice, great orchestra and a steaming horns section.

Swingin Teens volume one. The band I used to play in is releasing a bunch of live stuff never released before. When it comes out I'll post the website so you can download some videos and songs. Think Ramones and Stooges.

Zack de la Rocha joined up with the old RATM members at the Coachella Music Festival in April and I believe that they are going to perform at the Rock the Bells Festival, which starts during July sometime in NYC, but I’m not sure if they will release anything. Audioslave is definitely done.
