Great stuff... I'm a Hawaii resident also. Currently listening to George Shearing and Wes Montgomery.
Prost!

It's about 8:00 AM and I'm listening to Howard Stern interview Jet Li (who's very articulate).

Just got a 30GB iPod, so I am listening to stuff I forgot I'd owned as I try to fill the thing with CD's and .mp3's.... Dave Matthews, Faith No More, Kate Bush, Iron Maiden, Sloan, Sublime, etc. Besides that, I can't get enough of The Arcade Fire's Funeral CD. One of the few CD's I have bought recently that I can actually listen in its entirity. Not exactly uplifting music but amazing stuff.
I'm back....

Motley Crue: Shout at the devil. Every once in a while some hairspray metal suits the mood.

How ironic...I thought you would be a Barbara Steisand type of person.

Like Baird, I too seem to be having a hard time getting The Arcade Fire out of my CD player. I've had the CD for a couple of months now and I like it more with every listen. The last album that did this to me was You Forgot It In People by Broken Social Scene.

No Kenny , but would you believe I played a Spyro Gyra disc yesterday at work? It's only 'cause I played vibes & marimba in high school, and I always thought they had a good mallet-percussionist. Some Who's Next is currently putting me back on course.
