Are there any vineyards near Orange County? if not, how long of a drive is it to Temecula?

We were all raised being told that Jesus loved the little children. Yes, but he never had to dine with one.. he chose the lepers instead.

Temecula'll be about an hour away for you, maybe a little more, provided no traffic. You'll find more about Temecula on the WS board, I'm sure you've done a search already. Unless you're looking for a little drive and a nice warm spot for picnicing, I'd hit a local wine shop in Laguna and stay near the ocean, as most of the wine isn't that great in Temecula.

Drove from Anaheim to Temecula in about an hour. Visited the Thornton winery, some OK bubbly.

Hamilton Oaks - just east of Anaheim Hills.....
I am not a fan of their wines but they are nice and try. I think their is as good as Temecula and closer to Orange County-LA.
