So I know its not always foie gras and d’Yquem for people on these boards. Time to confess those guilty pleasures that may not be considered the most “high class”, but you can’t stop yourself from craving.

2 things come to mind for me:

First – I rarely eat fast food, but when I do, 99% of the time it’s those damn chick-fil-a sandwich’s. Don’t really care for their fries, but those sandwich’s are sooooo good.

Second – Coors light. That’s right, I said it. It’s not my everyday brew, but when it’s hot outside, golfing, on the boat, at the beach, nothing is better than a freezing cold C-minus.

So now I’m open kimono, your turn….

I was in Iowa for a week a few weeks ago and developed a taste for Pabst Blue Ribbon...

I love, love, love those little tacos carnitas and asada from my local taco truck. The cook, Enrique, makes his own corn tortillas and they are amazingly light and fluffy! Served with lightly grilled onions, cilantro, lime, and a radish slice. The fact that are also $1 apiece doesn't hurt.
Pair these with a Pacifico or a Mexican-made bottle of Coca-Cola, and I am in heaven. Big Grin

YEAH!! I don't even eat fast-food anymore. If I do, its only at this place. Too bad NJ doesn't have a similar chain. Northern VA has a similar one whose fries are a bit better.

Dude, there is nothing guilty pleasure about that, those taco’s sound awesome! Me and couple of guys from work used to drive down to baja mex every month and would stop at our favorite taco stands in TJ on the way back. Some simple taco’s and a cold beer after a day at the beach is the best.

What is it anyway? It is not a beer, but not sure what to call it. Wink

It's rocky mountain water ...

I use it as a chaser, or something to sober me up after a heavy night of wine.

On topic:

Kraft mac and cheese. (I like to sneak in some truffle oil)

Nothing really I'm guilty about. Trader Joes potstickers or veggie masala burgers?

In college we made a drink called "hopskip" -- ingredients:

the cheapest vodka you could find
the cheapest light beer you could find
can of concentrated frozen pink lemonade
generic 7-up
lime juice
ice

I swear, it tasted really good. A wine friend came over with a bottle of DRC and some other good stuff and before we got to drinking I gave him a taste as I had some bottled and left over from two or three nights prior, and he was very impressed! It was famous on the debate circuit. And, man oh man, did it get the job done! Big Grin

The occasional Poutine.
A mélange of warm french fries, topped with fresh cheese curds, then smothered with gravy.
Yummy once or twice a year. Love it, but always regret it after. It can sit a bit heavy.

The Montreal thing does raise a question: Is smoked meat a 'guilty' pleasure? If it is, then I am guilty. Big Grin

I will second the Coors Light on a hot day or at the golf course, those blue turning labels fascinate me!

I rarely eat fast food, but Chick-fil-A is indeed awesome.
You will never get me into a McDonald's unless I am hungover. If I am hungover, look out. I have no idea why, but I get a massive craving for those nasty little cheeseburgers.
Bread pudding is another weakness. I love bread pudding. If it is on the dessert menu, I am ordering it. I have to try it everywhere I go. The sad thing is that, IMO anyway, most chefs screw it up by adding all kinds of crap to it, not having a caramel sauce, or changing the sauce to some God-awful concoction of crap.
Finally, I love chocolate chip cookies.

I thought this was a wildly inappropriate reference to some sex act requiring 4 persons, and when the GOOGLE inquiry returned "In-N-Out ...This section may contain material not appropriate for an encyclopedia." my hopes were raised, but then dashed by the prosaic details.

Tim Horton's sour-cream glazed timbits.

It's a Canadian/Great Lakes states thing.....

Also, butter tarts with raisins and pecans and a hint of maple.
