Many don't know, but our own Caleb Smith is currently completing in the World Cup circuit for for the US in Skeleton. Shockingly, the US press does not cover this sport as closely as it should Wink, so I decided to go looking for some news myself.

Lo and behold, I find this little snippet in an article regarding the team.
quote:
... and Caleb Smith (Lake Placid, N.Y.) is ranked tenth after having won his first-ever medal this season at his home track in Lake Placid, N.Y.

Awesome! I remember watching skeleton on TV from the last winter olympics. You need balls of steel to do that sport. Go Caleb and good luck.

Thanks aries, maybe we will meet at an offline someday!

Sorry guys no german wines, all im bringing back is a few i snagged in italy. Good juice though! This past weekend i was trying to make the 3hr drive to mosel but it didnt work out. Last year i did great with getting to wine regions while competing but this year its proving a bit more difficult.

We have a surplus of German wine anyway, but Italian, now that would be a treat. Are any of those making it out to San Diego? Not to put you on the spot or anything. Razz
