Sad to hear. Went to high school with one of his nephews and he gave me my first introduction to the artist.

Een, thanks as always for the input. One of the many things I loved about Rauschy, was he was one of many in his generation that tried to take art out of the museums and into the apartments of the common man. Your comment on "different methods" of printing made me think about this.

I was traveling and missed his passing. Thanks for the post. I always found his sculptural work to be more interesting than his two dimensional work. Very thought provoking. To me, he was one of the most important American artists that I can think of who make art post WW2. Glad he lived such a long and successful life.
