My wife and I will be traveling to Beaune whith three other people in August. I was hoping to make an appointment with a winery for a tour. I was hoping to recieve some advise on how to arrange an appointment, and what winery to visit. We will have a car and will acctually be staying in Pommard. Any suggestions or information will be much appreciated. any reccomendations on where to eat or sites to see would also be graciously recieved.

Thank you!

Where to eat:
Lameloise, located in a small town called Chagny. Not that far from Beaune.
It was a 3 star Michelin place, lost the 3rd star, and I think got it back.
Probably 16 kilometers from Beaune, and less than that from Pommard.
Site to see: Well, besides the Hospice de Beaune, which I am sure is on your agenda, you'll want to go to Clos Vougeot and, a side trip to Dijon is worth it.
We visited the winery of Jacques Prieur, and that is close as well.
Now, Mansfield, make sure you post here the results of your trip....where you ate, what you found, some tips for us.
Have a great holiday.
