Anyone have an opinion about N9NE?

I have clients coming into town next week and they mentioned this restaurant.

I know the chef (Chris Conlon) here in Dallas was the sous chef for N9NE in Vegas.

TIA.

W&A-

If I'm not mistaken the original one of these is here in Chicago. I've been there a few times, but only paid for it once, the other times I was taken there.

I have mixed emotions about this restaurant. The seafood is great, and the steaks are pretty good but not what I consider great. The attitude at the N9NE here is disgusting (no reservation on a Tuesday night and we were made to wait then offered a crappy table despite the fact the restaurant remained half empty for the rest of the night), but it may have changed since I've been there.

If you haven't been, give it a shot. I'm not running back there any time soon, there are too many other very good or great restaurants around these parts.

Not looking good for next year either.

I've been there a couple of times and it is not my sort of place. The food is fine but the attitude is really silly. In Chicago the place tends to be frequented by people who want to be seen eating their dinner in a sleek setting. Lots of athletes going to the private area and such.

From the spelling to the attitude, N9NE is too sexy for its shirt. I do not like it at all.

cdr, before you replied, I was actually thinking that from what I know of you this place would be one of your ideas of hell.
