Posada was stupid. The Yankees have too much to lose to get into a brawl. I'm sure he wishes it hadn't happened.
Just one more sip.

Same way I felt about the Youkilis fight a few weeks ago.

Numba Time!
Yankees: 11
Boston: Well, I'll let you know if one or the other team kicks a field goal in that pitchers' duel.

Please pick up the pace, squid. They reduced Posada to 3 games for agreeing not to appeal. The Yankees sure could have used him last night, but the rookie came through in the clutch.
Just one more sip.

Ours dropped to 12 for the wildcard I believe.
I will take it. Love the way we're playing right now. They're peaking at the right time.

They sure appear to be! I wish I could say the same for the Yankees, but they're not playing at the same level right now that they were for the last 2 months.
Just one more sip.

I didn't realize you were talking about it in this thread. You are absolutely correct, Board-O. A very stupid move on Posada's part. Did he not expect to get thrown at after two Jays got hit?

Well, in spite of the magic number drop, I'm sorry to say the Red Sux are playing the best baseball of anybody right now.
Just one more sip.

That's right Mo. Get it out of the way now..... Far happier about AJ's pitching than I am depressed by Mo's BS.

The Yankees can clinch a playoff spot with a win tonight. Not sure if they will do the spraying of the sparkling wine thing, or wait until they clinch the AL East. I wonder what sort of bubbly they'll have. Probably Cold Duck. Doesn't that come from NY State?

Yankees: 5
Sox: Well, maybe we should focus a bit on the terror of KC before we go talking magic numbers n' stuff, OK?

I doubt NAMBLA has much to do with baseball. Kinda easy to see the difference, don't you think?
What, were you and Board-O throwing hissy fits at each other again?

Yes, I told him they wanted their moustache back. Keeping the editors on their toes I guess.
