There are way more "famous" people now than when I was a kid. Actors, Actresses, musicians, politicians, writers, etc. The death rate amongst these famous people is, roughly speaking,
one per person.

I think Malden was 97 or 98. A few years younger than Board-O.

From his old movies and television shows I always remember the shape of his nose and the tone of his voice. RIP.

One of my father's medical colleagues is a plastic surgeon. I remember him telling the story of riding in an elevator at a hotel and being captivated by another occupant's nose. He kept thinking, "That's a Karl Malden nose!! Oh, what I could do with that." He didn't realize until after they both got off the elevator that it WAS Karl Malden.

Malden was a fantastic actor and lead an admirable life.
